What You'll Do
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be the backbone of our overnight technical operations. You will design, develop, and maintain critical systems that ensure our clients experience zero downtime.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions to support critical business operations 24/7.
- Monitor system performance and logs during off-peak hours to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Debug complex technical issues and implement real-time fixes in production environments.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and QA teams during overlapping hours to define feature requirements.
- Maintain and update technical documentation and code repositories to ensure team alignment.
- Participate in on-call rotations for the night shift support team to handle emergencies.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a modern programming language (JavaScript, Python, Java, or Go).
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM EST) on a consistent basis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
