Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end systems engineering lifecycle for the 2026 launch vehicle suite, from concept definition to flight certification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced AI-driven navigation systems with legacy propulsion hardware.
- Perform rigorous fault analysis and risk mitigation strategies to ensure mission-critical system integrity in zero-gravity environments.
- Develop and validate thermal control systems capable of withstanding extreme temperature fluctuations in low Earth orbit.
- Interface with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with upcoming 2026 spaceflight safety standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical leads, fostering a culture of innovation and precision.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field; PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in spacecraft systems engineering or propulsion system development.
- Proven track record of working on complex projects with tight deadlines and high-stakes requirements.
- Expert knowledge of systems engineering methodologies (e.g., MBSE, V-model).
- Proficiency in engineering simulation tools such as ANSYS, COMSOL, or similar.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder briefings.
