Responsibilities
- Lead technical SEO audits to diagnose and rectify crawl errors, indexation issues, and site performance bottlenecks.
- Optimize site architecture, URL structures, and internal linking to maximize crawl budget and user experience.
- Implement and maintain schema markup (JSON-LD) for rich snippets and enhanced SERP visibility.
- Partner with web development teams to improve Core Web Vitals, site speed, and mobile responsiveness.
- Monitor technical health using Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and DeepCrawl.
- Develop and execute comprehensive backlink strategies to boost domain authority.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the search landscape.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in Technical SEO, preferably within a remote-first environment.
- Deep knowledge of Google’s search algorithms, specifically Core Web Vitals and page experience signals.
- Strong proficiency with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, or Drupal) and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from Google Analytics 4 and Search Console.
- Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely) and conversion rate optimization.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
