Responsibilities
- Provide Expert Technical Assistance: Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for clients with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Night Shift Monitoring: Oversee system health and performance during off-peak hours, proactively identifying and mitigating potential outages.
- Client Communication: Deliver clear, professional, and empathetic support via chat, email, and phone to ensure high customer satisfaction scores.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of technical issues, resolutions, and system changes to improve our knowledge base.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the day-shift engineering team to escalate critical issues and implement long-term solutions.
- System Optimization: Assist in the deployment and maintenance of remote access tools and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical support or a related IT role.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST).
- Remote Setup: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home office space.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, patience, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
