Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and societal trends to identify opportunities and threats for 2026+ horizon
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks integrating AI, climate science, and behavioral economics
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive teams to prepare for multiple future states
- Produce comprehensive trend reports and predictive models for product development and market entry
- Collaborate with R&D to prioritize innovation investments aligned with 2026 strategic objectives
- Build and manage external networks of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board and C-suite through compelling data visualizations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Analytics, or related field (Master's required)
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and predictive modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to articulate complex futures scenarios
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFM, APF) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating past futures projects and strategic impact
