Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 markets
- Develop scenario-planning models for high-uncertainty futures across multiple industry verticals
- Translate foresight insights into strategic roadmaps for product development and market entry
- Present future outlooks to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling visual narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging trends and their business implications
- Integrate foresight frameworks into corporate innovation processes and R&D pipelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning techniques
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar program)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful futures projects with measurable business outcomes
- Experience working with Fortune 500 companies on long-term strategic initiatives
