Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 global innovation strategy with quantifiable KPIs
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and market disruptions
- Architect strategic roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology integration
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with ROI-focused allocation
- Build and lead a specialized futurist research team
- Establish thought leadership through white papers and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFSD) preferred
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism domains
