Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio/video recordings into accurate written documents with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to industry-specific formatting guidelines (legal, medical, entertainment)
- Meet daily productivity quotas while maintaining quality standards
- Utilize transcription software efficiently (ExpressScribe, Dragon, etc.)
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and clarity
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information
- Collaborate with editors to resolve inconsistencies promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 75+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transcription software
- Exceptional command of English grammar, punctuation, and style
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and active listening skills
