Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio/video recordings with 98%+ accuracy
- Edit and proofread transcripts for grammar/punctuation
- Adhere to client-specific formatting and style guides
- Meet daily productivity quotas (1.5-2 hours of audio daily)
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Use provided transcription equipment and software efficiently
- Communicate with team leads for clarification on complex recordings
Qualifications
- Minimum 65 WPM typing speed with 95% accuracy
- 1+ years professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in English grammar and punctuation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Experience with Express Scribe or similar software preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical/legal terminology (plus)
