Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio/video recordings with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality & data security protocols
- Format documents per client specifications (legal, medical, general)
- Manage transcription deadlines using provided project management tools
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, clarity, and consistency
- Communicate effectively with team leads for clarification requests
- Maintain detailed logs of completed work for billing purposes
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Exceptional typing speed (80+ WPM) with 98% accuracy
- Proficiency in transcription software (ExpressScribe, etc.)
- Excellent command of English grammar and punctuation
- Ability to handle diverse audio qualities (accents, background noise)
