Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and convert spoken words into accurate written text.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure high-quality output and correct grammar.
- Adhere to strict formatting guidelines and style guides for each project.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining accuracy.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive client information.
- Research and verify specific terminology using professional dictionaries.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in transcription or a related field.
- Typing speed of at least 60 WPM with high accuracy.
- Excellent command of the English language (grammar, spelling, punctuation).
- Reliable computer hardware and high-speed internet connection.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with medical or legal terminology is a plus but not required.
