Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio/video recordings with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to client-specific formatting and style guidelines
- Utilize digital transcription tools (Express Scribe, FTR)
- Meet daily productivity quotas (40-60 minutes/hour)
- Review and edit transcripts for grammar, clarity, and completeness
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year transcription experience (medical/legal preferred)
- Typing speed of 80+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transcription software
- Exceptional listening and comprehension skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- High school diploma or equivalent (certification a plus)
