Responsibilities
- Listen to audio files and transcribe spoken content into written text with high accuracy.
- Format transcripts according to specific client style guides and punctuation rules.
- Proofread and edit transcribed content for grammar, spelling, and clarity.
- Meet daily and weekly production quotas and deadlines consistently.
- Use transcription software and tools efficiently to maximize workflow.
- Handle sensitive or confidential information with the utmost discretion.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in transcription or related administrative roles.
- Fast and accurate typing speed (minimum 60-70 WPM).
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively without supervision.
- Proficiency in using transcription foot pedals and software.
