Join our dynamic remote team as a Weekend Shift IT Support Specialist! TechFlow Solutions is seeking a dedicated professional to provide exceptional technical support during weekend hours (Saturday-Sunday, 8 AM - 8 PM). This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while supporting critical business operations. You'll be the first point of contact for resolving technical issues, ensuring seamless digital experiences for our clients across Charlotte and beyond. Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, chat, and ticketing systems
- Diagnose and resolve complex IT problems including system crashes, connectivity issues, and application errors
- Document all support interactions and maintain detailed ticket histories in our CRM system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate critical issues and implement long-term solutions
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential security threats
- Train end-users on best practices for data security and system utilization
- Support weekend system upgrades, patches, and maintenance windows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
- Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and mobile device troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365) preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience working with remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Availability to work weekends with flexibility during peak hours
