Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance software applications specifically for weekend coverage and stability.
- Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts during off-peak hours to ensure zero downtime.
- Collaborate with the core team on weekends to implement critical patches and feature updates.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues with minimal supervision during the shift.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding system status and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience (React, Node.js, Python, or Go preferred).
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday) as required.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
