Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and evaluating emerging technologies with 5-7 year commercial viability
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to anticipate technological disruptions
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate breakthrough technologies into core offerings
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage innovation budgets and resource allocation for future technology initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capital firms, academic institutions, and technology pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven experience in emerging tech ecosystems
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, Web3, or climate tech
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; PhD preferred
- Track record of successfully launching or scaling disruptive technology products
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Certification in technology strategy or innovation management (e.g., CDIO, CTO Academy) preferred
