Responsibilities
- Architect technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market opportunities and disruptions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and competitive landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for global market shifts through 2030
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D priorities with future market needs
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build predictive models for technology adoption curves and regulatory impacts
- Manage relationships with futurists, academic institutions, and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, corporate innovation, or tech consulting
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Experience with horizon scanning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS)
