Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data from 15+ emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, neurotech) to identify 2026-ready opportunities
- Develop and present strategic roadmaps for enterprise clients adopting next-gen technologies
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping sessions with engineers and designers
- Author quarterly Tech Horizon Briefings for C-suite executives and board members
- Build and manage a global network of futurist researchers and innovation scouts
- Drive implementation of pilot programs using exponential technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in futures-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic innovation or technology foresight
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Expertise in scenario planning and Delphi methodology
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial applications
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Experience with predictive analytics platforms (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, TechEmergence)
