Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech convergence
- Facilitate executive workshops translating futures insights into R&D priorities and market opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications on exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Collaborate with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, scientists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation or policy impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (IEEE, Nature Futures, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through disruptive technology transitions
