Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech innovations
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D priorities
- Present trend analyses and innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and external partners
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory shifts impacting future commercialization
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech commercialization
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning and trend impact analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation strategy implementation
