Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year innovation roadmaps for AI, biotech, and space exploration verticals
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Anticipate geopolitical and technological disruptions through horizon scanning
- Secure $10M+ in R&D grants from DARPA, NSF, and private foundations
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years in strategic innovation at FAANG or equivalent scale
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or Harvard Business Review
- Expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to market
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
