Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies (quantum AI, biocomputing, neural interfaces) with 2026+ commercial viability
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps integrating disruptive technologies into core business functions
- Collaborate with C-suite to align future-focused strategies with organizational vision and market expansion
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business plans and investment opportunities
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in foresight methodologies and strategic innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, technology forecasting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused initiatives in tech or advanced manufacturing
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or sustainable tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and predict market disruptions
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., Shell's Scenarios, Delphi Techniques) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
