Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neurotech, and climate resilience frameworks
- Conduct scenario planning for regulatory, ethical, and geopolitical implications of emerging technologies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions with 5+ year implementation horizons
- Present trend forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of work, consciousness, and digital sovereignty
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or equivalent strategic discipline
- 7+ years experience in innovation strategy, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on strategic transformation
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology ethics
