Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 5-year market evolution projections
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate emerging solutions (quantum AI, biocomputing, etc.)
- Translate complex foresight into executive-ready frameworks and stakeholder presentations
- Build cross-functional innovation ecosystems with academia, startups, and industry leaders
- Author thought leadership on future-of-work and technology convergence trends
- Quantify future market opportunities and risk scenarios for board-level decisioning
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, R&D strategy, or emerging technology roles
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or innovation frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with strategic roadmapping and innovation portfolio management
- Passion for ethical tech development and sustainable futures
