Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology, economic, and social shifts
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for emerging markets (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Conduct stakeholder workshops to align leadership on future innovation priorities
- Author annual Future State Reports with predictive market analysis
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for 2030 challenges
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on future business models
- Represent company at World Economic Forum and similar foresight forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in innovation strategy or corporate foresight role
- Proven experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures into business strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Published thought leadership on future trends (articles/white papers)
- Experience working with global cross-functional teams in tech/consulting
