Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 technology trend forecasts across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy sectors
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for global market disruptions and geopolitical shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state vision and innovation priorities
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging paradigm shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions with 3-5 year horizons
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation pipeline effectiveness and future-readiness
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate trends into coherent narratives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Experience with scenario planning tools and predictive modeling methodologies
