Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 technology foresight framework through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future scenarios and strategic pivots
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging tech disruptions and their business implications
- Architect human-centered solutions for societal challenges projected to emerge by 2026
- Collaborate with R&D to translate foresight into tangible R&D roadmaps and patent opportunities
- Build and nurture a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Produce thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning FutureWorks as the 2026 innovation authority
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for C-suite audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
