Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in forecasting tech trends and market shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and bio-convergence
- Partner with product teams to incubate future-facing products with 3-5 year horizons
- Present foresight analyses to investors and board members using data-driven narratives
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies and responsible deployment
- Build external partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor senior engineers on future-proofing technical architectures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation, strategy consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or MBA
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and investors
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech and venture capital ecosystems
- Experience developing innovation KPIs and ROI models for future initiatives
