Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, synthetic biology, climate tech)
- Lead moonshot innovation projects with $2M+ annual budgets and 15+ member teams
- Partner with C-suite to embed future-proofing into corporate strategy
- Conduct horizon-scanning research using AI-driven trend analysis and scenario modeling
- Drive commercialization of breakthrough innovations through rapid prototyping
- Present findings to global stakeholders at Davos-level forums
- Mentor next-gen futurists in our Future Leaders Program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling moonshot projects from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, climate AI)
- Advanced degree in Physics, Computer Science, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in Nature, MIT Tech Review, or similar
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation grants or venture funding
- Deep understanding of global policy frameworks for emerging technologies
