Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory changes, and cultural shifts to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Produce executive-grade trend reports with predictive modeling and risk assessments
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Advise leadership on disruptive threats and first-mover opportunities
- Design and monitor KPIs for future-readiness across business units
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or tech forecasting
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario-planning projects
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (biotech, space commercialization, etc.)
- Advanced data literacy with tools like TensorFlow, Tableau, or Python
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from WFS or AC/FS)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and Delphi techniques
