Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and social trends to forecast opportunities and threats through 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Author thought leadership reports and whitepapers on future industry landscapes
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into innovation pipelines
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption timelines
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech strategy roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio of published futurist work or strategic frameworks
- Experience in AI/ML or quantum computing ecosystems preferred
