- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Innovation Roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Conduct scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives and stakeholders
- Translate foresight into product development and business strategy recommendations
- Establish cross-functional futurist task forces across engineering, design, and marketing
- Publish quarterly trend reports and thought leadership content
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and industry symposiums
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, product innovation, or futurist research
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts with documented case studies
- Expertise in emerging tech: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS or CFCS preferred)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend forecasts with 80%+ accuracy
