Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and disruptive forces impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, trend analysis, and risk assessment models
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies and innovation roadmaps
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder presentations on future outlooks and strategic implications
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Produce annual '2026 Vision Report' with data-driven insights and strategic recommendations
- Champion future-focused culture through internal education and cross-functional innovation projects
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategy, Technology Forecasting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in futures research methodologies including Delphi technique, STEEP analysis, and scenario planning
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success through product or market strategies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3.0) and their societal impacts
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management strongly preferred
