Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts through horizon-scanning methodologies
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ market disruption using predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create future-state visions with stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on next-generation innovation
- Adv executive teams on ethical implications and risk mitigation for breakthrough technologies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight insights into product development roadmaps and investment priorities
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Experience advising C-level executives on long-term technology strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-state strategies
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFt, APF) preferred
