Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for Fortune 500 clients across AI, biotech, and climate sectors
- Produce high-impact trend reports and white papers that inform C-suite decision-making and long-term investment strategies
- Facilitate cross-industry symposiums with global thought leaders to co-create solutions for post-2025 challenges
- Design and deploy innovation sprints that transform futuristic concepts into market-ready prototypes
- Mentor a multidisciplinary team of futurists, data scientists, and design strategists
- Establish key performance indicators to measure the tangible impact of foresight initiatives on organizational growth
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD/Master's) in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Strategic Foresight, or related quantitative humanities field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend forecasting with demonstrable 2020+ impact
- Expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning applications, and scenario modeling tools (e.g., Palisade @RISK, CausalMapper)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications on 2025+ megatrends
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized solutions or policy frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and ability to distill complex concepts into actionable insights
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ multi-year foresight projects with measurable outcomes
