Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ tech disruptions (AI, quantum, biohacking)
- Develop and present annual futurist roadmaps to executive stakeholders
- Facilitate innovation workshops using design fiction and scenario planning
- Partner with R&D to prototype exponential technologies
- Author thought leadership for industry publications
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
- Analyze global megatrends affecting business ecosystems
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech strategy
- Expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 trend predictions
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology, or related field
