Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and ethics teams
- Produce actionable trend reports and scenario-planning models for C-suite stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Design ethical governance frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems
- Represent company vision at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive analytics and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (patents/products preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and systems thinking frameworks
