Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop and present strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market adaptation
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on emerging industry paradigms
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Analyze geopolitical and macroeconomic factors influencing long-term strategy
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption curves
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIP) or Futures methodologies
- Published author in innovation or futures thought leadership platforms
