Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future opportunities and threats
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Report' synthesifying global signals into actionable insights
- Advise C-suite on long-term R&D investments and innovation portfolio allocation
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for trend intelligence
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting our 5-10 year strategy
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategy consulting, futures research, or tech innovation
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (blockchain, AI, neurotech)
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or relevant technical field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ long-term strategy implementations
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
