Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum-resistant cryptography and decentralized AI systems
- Coordinate with C-suite executives to align R&D priorities with long-term business vision
- Present disruptive innovation frameworks to investors and board members
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams in agile implementation of speculative technologies
- Author white papers on ethical implications of emerging tech paradigms
- Secure partnerships with leading academic institutions and government labs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching products based on emerging science
- Deep expertise in blockchain, neuromorphic computing, or biotech convergence
- Certification in Futures Studies (AFS) or Technology Foresight
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three implemented futuristic initiatives
- Fluency in Python, R, and predictive modeling frameworks
