Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech domains (quantum computing, biotech fusion, neuro-interfaces)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with Fortune 500 partners to anticipate 2026 market disruptions
- Translate complex scientific research into commercialization strategies for patented Horizon technologies
- Coordinate with MIT and Stanford innovation labs on next-gen prototype development
- Author quarterly Horizon Pulse reports predicting industry shifts affecting $1B+ markets
- Mentor a team of 7 futurist analysts using proprietary predictive modeling tools
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (Master's + 8yrs experience considered)
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech focus)
- Published research on tech adoption curves or disruptive innovation patterns
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP-V, cross-impact analysis)
- Experience with patent strategy for emerging technologies (USPTO registration preferred)
- Portfolio of 3+ successful product launches based on 5-year forecasting
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for autonomous systems and AI
