Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 technology trend forecasts across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable infrastructure
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify strategic inflection points and market opportunities
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into R&D pipelines
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports for executive stakeholders and investor relations
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech incubators
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory landscapes impacting future tech adoption
- Design and implement innovation frameworks for organizational future-readiness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism, innovation strategy, or technology forecasting
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous transformation initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
