Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, synthetic biology, neural interfaces)
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on disruptive industry shifts
- Author whitepapers on societal impacts of automation and biotechnology convergence
- Manage $2M+ innovation fund for prototype development of future-focused solutions
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and Singularity University summits
- Mentor junior futurists in ethical foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and causal layered analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and regulatory landscapes
- Proven track record of implementing future strategies in Fortune 500 environments
- Fluency in futures modeling tools (e.g., STAGE, Polymodel)
