Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, generative AI, and biometric interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 18-month launch horizons
- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic papers to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget allocation for future-focused initiatives
- Partner with venture capital firms to scout and acquire breakthrough startups
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological adoption and ROI of 2026 innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record launching products with 3+ year development cycles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Published author or keynote speaker at tech conferences (TED, Web Summit)
- Experience securing federal grants for futuristic R&D initiatives
- Fluency in technical forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio of 2020-2025 technology predictions with >70% accuracy
