Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with emerging quantum/AI paradigms
- Lead cross-functional teams in building prototype systems for 2026 use cases
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies (neural nets, quantum security, etc.)
- Partner with C-suite to integrate 2026 innovations into product roadmaps
- Present findings at global tech summits and publish thought leadership
- Manage $2M+ R&D budget for 2026 technology incubation projects
- Mentor 'Future Tech Fellows' in our 2026 innovation accelerator
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Published work on quantum computing or AI ethics (IEEE/ACM preferred)
- Experience with 10-year technology forecasting methodologies
- Proven track record of launching future-ready systems
- Deep understanding of 2026 regulatory landscapes (AI governance, etc.)
- Fluency in future tech frameworks (Gartner Hype Cycle, etc.)
