Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling disruptive technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging trends and competitive threats
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage R&D budget allocation and ROI analysis for experimental projects
- Champion a culture of calculated risk-taking and rapid iteration
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in future-gazing methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- Strong background in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AR/VR
- Executive experience managing $5M+ innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in technology futures or disruption
- MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futures Studies
- Experience with venture capital or corporate innovation incubators
