Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for disruptive technologies (quantum, biotech, AI)
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype 2026-relevant solutions
- Identify emerging market gaps and patent opportunity vectors
- Partner with VCs and startups to scout acquisition targets
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for experimental initiatives
- Author thought leadership for industry summits and journals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching category-defining products
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Fluency in scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Experience scaling teams from 10 to 100+ members
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ breakthrough innovations
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and systems thinking
