Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum computing, biotech convergence, and sustainable infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation solutions with 5-year commercialization horizons
- Analyze global market trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage innovation portfolios with $10M+ annual R&D budgets
- Collaborate with academic institutions on forward-looking research initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in emerging technology sectors
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with 5+ year lead times
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Executive-level presentation skills with experience influencing Fortune 500 leadership
- Published thought leadership in innovation strategy (white papers, patents, or industry journals)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
