Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Identify and evaluate disruptive market opportunities and competitive threats
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage innovation pipeline with prioritization frameworks
- Partner with venture teams to scout and integrate startup technologies
- Produce foresight reports and trend analysis for executive decision-making
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption
- Expertise in futures thinking methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Strong background in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or sustainable tech
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous challenges
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS in Engineering, or PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology strategy
