Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 scalability milestones
- Develop error-correction frameworks for 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize cryogenic control systems
- Create quantum algorithms for enterprise applications in finance and healthcare
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing hybrid quantum-classical pipelines
- Document architectures and present findings to C-suite and research partners
- Monitor quantum security standards and implement post-quantum cryptography protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum computing systems or superconducting circuits
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq for quantum algorithm development
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Published research in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
